Asian Network of Industrial Heritage (ANIH) 2021– International Youth Forum Activity Series
Description of the event
The “Asian Network of Industrial Heritage (ANIH) 2021 – International Youth Forum Activity Series†programme led by the Bureau of Cultural Heritage, Ministry of Culture, Taiwan, echoes the spirit of The International Committee for the Conservation of the Industrial Heritage (TICCIH) 2022 annual meeting theme “Industrial heritage Reloaded†by organizing “In this PLACE – International Forum of Industrial Heritage: Glocalization.†The forum aimed to cultivate the capacities of young people by exploring industrial heritage conservation but also connect Asian industrial heritage to the global heritage agenda by exchanging the International and Taiwan’s practices.
Involvement and mission
An online presentation of the Mnemosyne project was given by Marinos Ioannides and Kyriakos Efstathiou presented a talk titled “The Antikythera Mechanism: The First Analog Computer†at the exchange meetings.
Impact
This event consisted of 43 key participants in the field of industrial heritage.
